really fun place to visit. walkthru tunnel with loads of rays and sharks as well as plenty of colorful fish. Zoo area had a nice variety of animals . Always lots of fun watching otters and penguins. Otter encounter was the best, learn a lot about the animals and actually get to shake hands.

Visiting the aquarium at Dubai Mall is an experience that combines tranquility and awe in a truly unique way. The place feels both vast and intimate at the same time, you can stroll through (extremely clean) glass tunnels surrounded by marine life, yet still feel a calming sense of peace. The atmosphere is beautiful, clean, and serene, offering moments for reflection and pure enjoyment of the fascinating creatures. The staff are helpful and attentive, and everything is well organized. For those seeking a bit more excitement, there are opportunities to touch a shark, swim with them, or even interact with penguins, unforgettable experiences that make the visit even more special. Overall, this is a wonderful 1–2 hour experience, perfect for both adults and children. Highly recommended, worth every minute.

Absolutely stunning experience! The Dubai Underwater Aquarium is like stepping into another world. The massive tunnel with sharks, rays, and colorful fish swimming all around was mesmerizing. Everything was well-maintained and the marine life variety was incredible. A must-visit when in Dubai Mall!

The Dubai Aquarium is an amazing experience! The massive tank with sharks, rays, and colorful fish is truly mesmerizing. The tunnel walk gives you a close-up view of marine life — it feels like you’re underwater! Great for families, couples, and tourists. Wonderfully experience, its a little price for the whole experience. However it's Great overall. Just that if you are willing to spend money for a 20 mins then its fine otherwise you will feel its a waste of money. The place is great however very small for the price paid.

The Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo is located within The Dubai Mall in Downtown Dubai. The main Aquarium Tunnel is on the Ground Level, and the Underwater Zoo entrance is on Level 2.

By Car

Navigate to The Dubai Mall. For the closest access to the aquarium, it is recommended to use the Cinema Parking or Fashion Parking. Please note that mall parking is a paid service.

By Metro

The most convenient way to arrive is by taking the Dubai Metro's Red Line to the Burj Khalifa / Dubai Mall Station. An air-conditioned indoor link bridge provides direct, step-free access from the station into the mall.

By Bus

Several RTA bus routes terminate directly at The Dubai Mall, including key services like Route 27 from the Deira Gold Souk area and Route 28 from Oud Metha, providing easy access from across the city.

By Taxi

Taxis and ride-hailing services like Uber or Careem have multiple designated drop-off and pick-up points at The Dubai Mall for your convenience.

Aquarium Tunnel: A 48-meter walk-through tunnel offering a 270° view of marine life, including sharks, rays, and various fish species. (15-30 minutes)
Underwater Zoo: Located on Level 2, featuring three ecological zones - Rainforest, Rocky Shore, and Living Ocean - with highlights such as the King Croc and interactive exhibits. (45 minutes-1.5 hours)
Penguin Cove: Part of the Underwater Zoo, showcasing Gentoo penguins in their Antarctic habitat and their underwater agility. (Included within Underwater Zoo time)
