Welcome to Gentoo Worldwide Tickets Selling LLC ("Gentoo"). By purchasing tickets or using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Definitions

• Gentoo: Gentoo Worldwide Tickets Selling LLC.
• Website: Our online platform at https://www.gentoo.ae/ and any associated domains.
• Customer: Anyone purchasing or attempting to purchase tickets or services from Gentoo.
• Promoter: The organizer responsible for the event or attraction.
• Event: Any attraction or activity for which tickets are sold by Gentoo.
• Ticket: A document or electronic record granting admission to an event.
• Services: The services provided by Gentoo, including ticket sales and delivery.

2. Ticket Purchase Policy

2.1 General Policy

• Final Sale: All ticket purchases are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable except as outlined in our Refunds Policy (Section 6).
• Unauthorized Resale Prohibited: Tickets may not be transferred or resold to any third party.
• Validity of Tickets: Only tickets purchased directly from Gentoo or authorized agents are valid. Tickets from unauthorized sellers may be invalid and entry may be denied.
• Identification Requirement: Gentoo and Promoters may require Customers to present valid identification.
• Prices for attractions can change at any time. Price changes will not affect bookings already accepted, except in cases of obvious error. If there is an obvious error and you have made a booking, we will offer you the opportunity to keep your booking by paying the correct price or we will cancel your booking without penalty.

2.2 Lost or Stolen Tickets

• Customer Responsibility: Customers are responsible for safeguarding their tickets. Gentoo is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged tickets.
• Electronic Tickets: Protect electronic tickets as you would physical ones. If an electronic ticket is copied or stolen and used before your arrival, entry may be denied without refund.

2.3 Fraudulent Purchases

• Fraud Prevention: Gentoo reserves the right to cancel tickets purchased fraudulently without refund.
• Chargebacks: In cases of chargebacks or payment disputes, Gentoo may cancel the associated tickets.

3. Payment

Payment must be made at the time of booking. We accept payments online using VISA, MasterCard, and American Express credit/debit cards in AED (or any other agreed currency).

4. Ticket Usage and Event Attendance

4.1 Entry Requirements

• Compliance: Customers must comply with all entry requirements, including age restrictions, dress codes, and any other rules specified by the Promoter or venue.
• The QR code ticket is valid for one-time entry only. Re-use or re-entry is not allowed.
• Refusal of Entry: Gentoo is not responsible if entry is refused due to non-compliance with entry requirements; no refunds will be issued.

4.2 Conduct at Events

• Behavior Standards: Customers must behave appropriately. Disruptive, dangerous, or illegal behavior may result in ejection without refund.
• No Re-entry Policy: Many events have a no re-entry policy. Exiting the venue may forfeit your right to re-enter without a new ticket.

4.3 Prohibited Items

• Restrictions: Items such as weapons, illegal substances, recording devices, and other prohibited items are not allowed. Venue security may conduct searches.
• Confiscation: Prohibited items may be confiscated, and Gentoo is not responsible for their return.

4.4 Event Changes

• Schedule Changes: Event times and dates are subject to change. It is the Customer's responsibility to verify the event schedule before attending.
• Late Arrival: Late arrivals may be denied entry. No refunds will be provided for late attendance.

4.5 Recording and Photography

• Consent to Be Recorded: By attending an event, you consent to being photographed or recorded. Gentoo and Promoters may use this material for promotional purposes without compensation.

5. Ticket Delivery

• Delivery Method applicable as per our website products: Tickets are typically delivered via email in PDF format and are also available for download from our website.
• Email Responsibility: Ensure your email address is correct and that you can receive emails from Gentoo.

6. Cancellation and Refunds Policy

6.1 Non-Refundable Tickets

Gentoo sells tickets on behalf of attractions responsible for event organization and management.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in the specific ticket or attraction details at the time of purchase, all tickets are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-transferable.

 

6.2. Exceptions to the Non-Refundable Policy

If refund or exchange options are available for an attraction, they will be explicitly outlined in the ticket or event details upon purchase.

In these cases, the refund will be provided in accordance with the value stated on the ticket, without any additional charges.

6.3 Customer Cancellations

• Notification: To cancel your reservation, notify Gentoo in writing and provide:
• Transaction number
• Ticket numbers
• Email address
• Full name
• Telephone number
• Confirmation: We will confirm the cancellation in writing and inform you of any applicable fees.
• Responsibility: Gentoo is not responsible for cancellations not received in a timely manner or not confirmed by us.

6.4 Refunds

• Processing: When applicable, refunds will be processed through the original payment method within 5 to7 business days.

6.5 Event Changes and Cancellations

• Organizer's Responsibility: We are not responsible for event changes or cancellations. Refunds or exchanges will be subject to the event organizer's policies.

6.6 Entry Restrictions

It is the Customer's responsibility to check for any entry restrictions—such as age limits or dress codes—before purchasing a ticket. Gentoo will not be liable or provide refunds if entry is declined by the Promoter.

7. Liability

7.1 Event Liability

• No Responsibility: Gentoo is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage occurring at events.
• Third-Party Actions: Gentoo is not responsible for the actions of Promoters, venue staff, or other attendees.

7.2 Force Majeure

• No Liability: Gentoo is not liable for cancellations, delays, or changes due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, acts of God, war, or government actions.

8. Privacy Policy

8.1 Data Collection

• Personal Information: We collect personal information necessary to process transactions, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• Consent: By providing your information, you consent to its use as described.

8.2 Use of Information

• Purpose: Information is used to process orders, deliver tickets, and provide customer support.
• Third-Party Sharing: Information may be shared with Promoters, payment processors, and authorities as required, as per pur Privacy policy.

8.3 Data Protection

• Security Measures: Gentoo implements reasonable security measures to protect personal information.
• No Unauthorized Sharing: We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties for marketing purposes without your consent.

8.4 Access and Correction

• Your Rights: You have the right to access and correct your personal information by contacting us.

9. Changes to Terms

• Right to Amend: Gentoo reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.
• Notification: Changes will be effective upon posting on the Website. Continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
