Worth the trip but smaller than expected. We enjoyed our visit. There are some neat animals to see (even although I am not a fan of animals outside their natural habitat). It is an educational place - would be great for a school trip. Younger children would enjoy it. My 15 year old granddaughter said it was worth the trip. We would probably give barely 4 stars. The “cafe” only had seating for 4 people. Prepare for heat outside if you plan to have a snack.

I was under the impression The Green Planet was a rainforest featuring a variety of plants/trees and some birds, but I had no idea there were going to be so many animals, birds and reptiles, many within a mere inches from wandering humans. For some of the wildlife, like sloths and little monkeys, as well as some reptiles, I found the enclosures to be way too small, which is unethical and doesn’t do justice to the animals. Two large parrots defecated on my partner and I. My partner was able to wash himself with water, but their feces was on my hair, arms, clothes and cheeks. We were not warned prior to entering the facilities that this could be an issue, otherwise we would have been more prepared. Moreover, the staff did not help us clean up. They simply pointed us to some paper tissues and sanitizer, did not give me access to washrooms, or provide appropriate supplies to help me clean up. My husband did his best to help me clean up, and quite frankly, the incident put a damper on my day. The staff kept saying “this is a blessing, you are lucky” but honestly I would have preferred some assistance, and a prior warning, so let this be a warning to you if you go. We also witnessed a small bird fly into a young infant who began crying hysterically, while his mother kept examining his face frantically to look for any injuries. There are some very wild, large, predatory birds, bats and primates all out in the open, and staff isn’t always paying attention. The experience is cool and informative, but please proceed with caution especially if you have kids. Given that respiratory illnesses are on the rise, do mask while navigating the facilities. The birds fly around and there’s tonnes of dust, particles and organisms released into the air from their feathers.

A great experience, the animals are right there in front of you, making it feel truly immersive. The staff are excellent: very friendly, knowledgeable, and always on hand to guide you, explain details, and even introduce some of the creepier crawlies up close. It’s both fun and educational for kids and adults alike. The only downside is the price, for a family of four it’s very expensive, which takes away from an otherwise fantastic outing.

A fantastic experience at The Green Planet! 🌿 So many colourful birds, unique creatures, and a couple of animals to explore. The rainforest atmosphere feels magical and very child-friendly—kids loved every moment. Highly recommended for families in Dubai! 🦜✨ Parking is at the mall which is opposite, best to park near brass monkey by taking the elevator. Will spend 2 hours. Food is available inside.

This is a must visit attraction here in Dubai. I love nature and birds and it is very nice to know that we’re able to closely experience them. Once you enter the building, you’ll be greeted with a big aquarium entrance and mini pond and wall of small fishes,. Then came the big tree with a lot of birds, mammals hanging on it. There are also snakes, spiders, snails, frogs and a lot more. I am amazed how the Green Planet maintains these wonderful nature and creatures. I am very happy seeing these creatures closely, take a picture with them and observe them. Then came the surprise, the Indoor rain with thunder and lightning effect is surreal. It feels you are inside a forrest. It is an experience I would love to try again. Very recommended for families, kids and can be a romantic date as well. Souvenirs shop and food/restaurant area are available. You will really learn a lot, interesting ecosystem knowledge.
